PIAP at the First Edition of EFFECT MICE FESTIVAL in Łódź – Event Report

On April 22, the first edition of EFFECT MICE FESTIVAL took place in Łódź — a new event on the meetings industry map that, already at its debut, attracted a wide range of representatives from the event sector. The Polish Chamber of Promotional Products had the pleasure of participating in the festival as an exhibitor, actively contributing to discussions about the future of the MICE market and the promotional products industry.

From the very first moments of the event, it was clear that the festival had been created with the broader event industry and attendee experience in mind. The central point of the venue was an impressive stage with large LED screens, where presentations, speeches, and the educational part of the event took place. The entire space was filled with creative, visually refined booths, attractions, and impressive showcases demonstrating the possibilities of today’s event market.

A highly diverse group of exhibitors could be found on-site — from companies specializing in conference and event organization, through technology and event attraction providers, to manufacturers of various materials and solutions supporting event execution. The atmosphere of the event perfectly reflected the character of the MICE industry: dynamic, creative, and focused on building engaging experiences.

For PIAP, participation in the festival was also an opportunity to observe emerging trends in the event market and discuss how the promotional products industry can support modern events and attendee experiences.

A particularly important aspect of the event was the hosted buyers format — meetings with individuals directly responsible for event organization and purchasing decisions. These types of conversations have the greatest potential when it comes to building long-term business relationships and generating real projects.

The trade fair featured a very broad and diverse range of exhibitors — from companies offering event attractions and entertainment services, through conference organizers, to providers of comprehensive event infrastructure solutions. This diversity clearly demonstrated how dynamically the MICE industry is developing and how many touchpoints it shares with the promotional products market.

During the event, we also had the opportunity to meet and talk with companies associated with PIAP, including:

  • L-SHOP-TEAM
  • CTM Group
  • Salem Design Studio
  • Barański tekstylia reklamowe

Direct meetings with Chamber members in this format are always a valuable opportunity for discussion, exchanging perspectives, and strengthening relationships.

The first edition of EFFECT MICE FESTIVAL clearly showed that the event and advertising industries share many common areas and significant potential for collaboration. The shared focus on attendee experiences, emotional engagement, and creating valuable interactions means that the synergy between these sectors can bring measurable benefits to both sides.

From PIAP’s perspective, the event served as a promising platform for further cross-industry cooperation and for building relationships that may lead to concrete projects in the future.

The first edition of the festival definitely “made an effect” — and we will be following its future editions with great interest.
