EFFECT MICE FESTIVAL 2026 – a new nationwide event industry gathering coming this April to Łódź

On April 21, 2026, the first edition of the EFFECT MICE FESTIVAL will take place at EXPO Łódź. The event aims to create a nationwide platform for meetings, collaboration, and showcasing services for the event industry. Located in central Poland, the festival is designed to facilitate participation from professionals across the country and provide a new space for регуляр industry integration.

The organizers plan to host around 200 exhibitors presenting offers from venues, agencies, service providers, and technology suppliers. Selected international guests will also attend as partners or participants in the Hosted Buyers program.

Study Tour in Łódź and Dinner & Show by Agustin Egurrola

The day before the main festival, Hosted Buyers will take part in a unique Study Tour of Łódź, designed by four local event agencies. Each has prepared its own concept showcasing different aspects of the city—from creativity and contemporary art, through neurodiversity and new participant engagement formats, to industrial heritage and high-potential event spaces.

In the evening, Hosted Buyers will attend a special Dinner & Show directed and hosted by Agustin Egurrola.

As Tomasz Koralewski, President of the Łódź Tourism Organization, notes:
“Łódź has been developing its MICE segment for years, and EFFECT MICE FESTIVAL is a great opportunity to showcase the city’s potential on a national scale. This event opens space for collaboration between local partners and the wider industry. The Study Tour, Dinner & Show, and expo format together create a project that can become a permanent fixture in the professional event calendar.”

EXPO format + scheduled 1:1 meetings

EFFECT MICE FESTIVAL introduces to Poland a model combining a trade show with mandatory pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings between exhibitors and Hosted Buyers.

The organizers aim to host 200 Hosted Buyers representing event agencies, procurement and marketing departments, corporations, and public institutions. Each Hosted Buyer will participate in a series of meetings arranged according to a schedule prepared by the organizer.

Exhibitors will define the number of meetings themselves by selecting an appropriate participation package.

The exhibition area will be divided into themed zones to improve navigation and allow exhibitors to present their offerings in the most relevant context. Zones will include:

  • Event attractions – artists, performers, shows, and interactive experiences
  • Event technology – lighting, sound, multimedia, AV, and special effects
  • Locations & venues – hotels, congress centers, arenas, and outdoor spaces
  • Wedding & Celebration – suppliers for weddings, galas, and premium events
  • Event infrastructure – furniture, scenography, installations, and build-ups
  • Event agencies & DMC – companies specializing in comprehensive event and MICE project delivery

Central stage – case studies of outstanding events

A central congress stage in a silent-conference format will allow presentations to run alongside exhibition activities.

The organizers expect around 2,000 participants. The stage program will feature short, dynamic presentations based on case studies from some of the most impressive events organized in Poland—from large-scale productions to smaller, unconventional formats. Speakers will share insights into creative processes, technical execution, and project challenges.

Well-known industry figures will also appear on stage, with announcements to be revealed progressively.

The organizers emphasize that the educational program will be one of the festival’s strongest pillars.

Evening Gala “Polecani w Eventach” – the grand finale

After the exhibition, participants will move to DoubleTree by Hilton Łódź for the evening Gala “Polecani w Eventach,” attended by approximately 800 guests, including Hosted Buyers and industry representatives.

Awards from the “Polecani w Eventach” poll will be presented, followed by an all-night celebration featuring live music, a star performance, and an open bar. This will be the highlight of the festival—a celebration of the event industry and a tribute to its professionals.

As Rafał Krzycki, the festival organizer, explains:
“We wanted to create an event that responds to the real needs of the industry—offering space for exposure, facilitating direct business meetings, and building relationships in a friendly, modern, and effective format. Łódź, as a centrally located and well-connected city, becomes a natural meeting point for MICE. EFFECT MICE FESTIVAL is meant to be an event people look forward to every year.”
